What's after Sec+?

So I just passed my Sec+ test and am looking to move forward. I was able to blast through Sec+ material in about a week, and was originally looking to hit CCNA next but have been told you need actual box time on Cisco routers and switches to pass. I'm looking for a networking cert that's intermediate level to diversify my resume a bit more, what other options are out there?

If you want a networking cert that is actually going to help you in your career Cisco is the way to go. There are ways to get practice without real hardware. GNS3, VIRIL, Packet Tracer, rack rentals, etc.

Like network said, use Packet Tracer. I passed CCNA first try and I never touched a physical router/switch.

While I enjoy using a physical lab, you don't need it for the CCNA. If you can get the images, GNS3 is a good way to go. Packet Tracer works well enough for the CCNA, although from time to time it will have a quirk or two. I've heard a lot about VIRIL but I have never used it.
