Has anyone ever attended this school? It's an online non-profit.

Wasn't accepted into WGU sadly. Even though I have multiple networking/server classes (their website says that's a pre-req). They still didn't take me though, lol. -

I told them that I took the two server classes and two networking class. They didn't say why. The admissions rep was like "the transcript department said that it didn't meet the minimum requirements". That's all I got out of him. -

Well that sucks. I didn't realize there were that many prereqs for getting into the Bachelor's program. You know, other than a high school diploma. I'm surprised they didn't tell you what you needed to do in order to qualify.WGU - MSISA - Done!!

markulous Member Posts: 2,394 ■■■■■■■■□□Multiple classes is not enough. Typically, you either need an Associate's degree, a certification, or enough IT work experience. Best way to get into WGU is just to get a cert. Verify that they still allow you to come in with a MTA and just get MTA Operating Systems. It's cheap and fairly easy to pass if you've ever worked on Windows 7. I'd definitely recommend doing that over SNHU since you'll be able to work at your own pace and get some good certs.

On the contrary, their website says the complete opposite. The website specifically states 1 or more higher level OS courses. So yes, judging by their website, multiple classes is enough.

Weird. The admissions guy I talked to initially is what told me that. Either way, you get a cert you should have no problems getting in. -

On the phone with them right now on hold. They should definitely take me man, it's silly. Regardless, if the website says that, they should accept me. If it's not the case, update the website.
