Should I sign an NDA before my very first interview?

I applied for a Senior Operations Engineer and a Sr. Desktop role.
They want me to sign an NDA before the first interview.
Should I do this? I've applied for many jobs and usually NDA comes after an offer or the first interview.

TechGuru80 Member Posts: 1,539 ■■■■■■□□□□What is your hesitation? If I was going to have somebody sign one prior to an interview I would NEVER give the interview until it was signed. I've signed them prior to interviews...not that big of a deal. Especially if you are going on site you are likely to see something that should stay internal.

GreaterNinja Member Posts: 271an update, I declined to sign the NDA. They still interviewed me. The interview actually went pretty well. We'll see how it goes for round #2.

rsutton Member Posts: 1,029 ■■■■■□□□□□Bad move to decline signing the NDA. There is no valid reason for doing so as it's only a contract to prevent you from exposing proprietary information to external parties. This would be a big red flag to me if I was interviewing someone.
