Best Book for VCP550?
watermelonss
Hello Everyone,
Been using Sybex VCP550 2014 and had very disappointing results (Up to Chapter 3). I can't follow the labs in that book i.e. when it says click on ___, I can't find it. I'm using vCenter Appliance and not vCenter so everything's in disarray.
My ESXI won't connect to my AD because the FQDN I put in is not suitable. Not sure what I'm doing wrong because i'm putting in hostname + dns suffix.
I'm literally lost. Does anyone have any idea where I can start from now?
Books? or online Lab trainings?
Thanks

The Mastering vSphere 6.0 or 5 is usually enough for the VCP, provided you understand the material well. Grab this book and you wont be disappointed. You also need a home lab of some sort, what else have you got apart from the vCenter appliance?

You'll need to take some authorised training if you want be a VCP, training will help you learn how to setup your lab too.
