Network+ (N10-005) - passed

I took and passed Net+ today after 2 solid study weeks. Thanks to this forum I used Professor Messer videos and the quizlet 515 note card site and learned as much as I could. I had originally planned on taking this Jul21st but decided to just walk in and take it today, I felt pretty comfortable after going through the note cards again. Scored 828!

Another thing I did each time before I studied was write down all of the common ports, the 568a/b standards, cable speeds, and a power of 2 chart. It was a bit much but it certainly helped me learn it and didn't have to worry on the test.

i now have Net+ and Sec+ (did it backwards!) and I will be looking towards Storage+, Cloud or CTT. One of those 3 then I'll focus on other vendor specific certs.

    I have a little bit of experience in networking, it's mostly on the back end though logging in remotely for a large enterprise. I think the work experience will help more when it comes to CCNA. But it is very, very limited so I'd almost not call it experience at all.

    I also sat in the library on two straight weekends learning as much as I could. It's possible to pick it all up in a short time.

    The N10-005 is a very Easy exam.

    Absolutely nailed Volfkhat...very easy and the concepts basically carry into each question.

    Greg, not sure I took 301, 401 is a whole other animal! Sorry!
