Just got back from a victory lunch after passing with a 793!
I have taken several Comptia and Microsoft certifications and this seemed the hardest to me. Whenever I took a cert before, when I hit that done button even I know I passed or it is 50/50. This time, when I hit that done button I thought to myself "Screw it, I failed. But at least I have that retake coupon." I was shocked when that "Congratulations" came up on the screen.
On a lot of questions I was able to eliminate several answers and blindly guessed on what was left over.
For prep I used Darril Gibson's book (but there were several things that were not covered at all. Linux commands?) and using Professor Messer on the stuff I was unsure of from Gibson (namely PKI). I also used CertMaster but honestly only got it because it came with a retake coupon.

Yeah, I also felt this was the most difficult exam I've taken yet (having taken A+ and Net+). I went into it feeling pretty confident but by the time I was ready to click that "done" button I was praying for just 750!! What really bugged me about this one was the wording of the multiple choice questions. All the concepts on the test were familiar to me, but I'd say on at least 50% of the questions I got I was scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell kind of drugs the exam designers were on when they finalized everything!!!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the LINUX question! I got that one too. Don't remember much about it, other than thinking "God, this MUST be one of those "non-graded" questions." Seriously, I used a variety of sources and NONE even touched on that. -

Agreed on the multiple choice questions. In many cases I was able to rule out two of four answers, but ended up struggling to choose between the last two.

Congratulations!!! I had a similar experience with that moment of self-doubt during the test where I questioned whether I passed it. It was a pleasant shock to see that passing score. Well done!! -

Awesome on the PASS!! I know what you mean about this one being difficult, I studied this solid for over 5 weeks day and night and felt I had the concepts down really good but during that exam didn't feel so sure and thought I failed but got the big "Congratulations" with an 827 score and was so happy that one was done!Currently working on CCENT/CCNA and CAPM
