A bit about me and how I passed the exam!!
Background
2 Years Experience in IT Security as an Analyst
Honours Degree in Computer Science
I've been studying IT since the age of 15 in School/College/University
Various Certs as per my profile
Exam Material Used:
CBT Nuggets (Went through 7 times at least)
CCCURE (Paid Sub)
FreePractice Tests (Paid Sub)
5 Day Class Room Based Training
Official CISSP Study Book (Latest Edition)
Eric Conrad 11th Hours
Dummies Guide to CISSP
WikiPedia/Youtube/Facebook Study Group / Forums
My advice to anyone taking the exam is to look at every aspect of Security!
As others have said this is definitely one exam you can't "Cram" for.
You need to know the topics inside out!

What resources did you use to pass the exam?
Eric Conrad 11th Hour (Best Book ever!)
CISSP Official Guide
CBT Nuggets
CCCURE
Freepractice Tests
Dummies guide to CISSP
As well as lots of online resources such as WikiPedia/Youtube/Facebook Study Group ETC
Just had an email from ISC2 it looks like I do not need to take any further actions until I can obtain the 2 years worth of work experience.
Once I have this I then complete the endorsement process.
Just keep gaining that experience and then have the application/endsorer ready so that you can apply.
Specially those:
CBT Nuggets
CCCURE
Freepractice Tests
Thanks, and congrats again
Certifications are like respect. They are earned, not simply handed to you.
Hi Muukaan,
I'm sorry but won't be able to share the resources as per the T&C's of cccure and freepractice tests. If your looking for free resources there are plently out there to use!
The latest edition has some good questions in! so I would recommend the latest one purely for the questions!
I can confirm I got my results straight away!
Could you please let me know where to get the subscription for CCure Quiz Is it on http://www.freepracticetests.org/?

First 2 is paid subscription. Having access to CCCure CBT training does not give you access to the quiz.
this is my first post in this forum. I am now highly motivated to start to prepare for CISSP exam. I have not given myself any deadline as of now as I want to read the material atleast once to know where I actually stand! How much does the latest version of the study guide cost in India? Any idea?
