I posted my resume on cl and need advice for a headline so it will grab employers attention for a job. I have had some work offered to me and was offered a part time job that's only a few hours a week. I have put IT, help desk, things like that and Network support. What else may help?

Rather than posting your resume on some awful website and hoping someone sees it, target positions you actually want, then apply directly. -
Dakinggamer87 Member Posts: 4,016 ■■■■■■■■□□I would put your resume on DICE it's a great job search site focused on IT. It has many job openings I have gotten some good jobs/gigs in the past from here.
I would also try LinkedIn if you haven't already as well.*Associate's of Applied Sciences degree in Information Technology-Network Systems Administration

SteveLord Member Posts: 1,717You can certainly look for jobs on CL, but the resume section is garbage. You'll just advertise yourself to spammers and scammers...just like when you post anything for sale on there.WGU B.S.IT - 9/1/2015 >>> ???

Mide Member Posts: 61 ■■□□□□□□□□Yeah sometimes CL is good when looking for companies that don't want to spend too much money to post a position, but I wouldn't actually post my information on there since there are way too many spammers.
Like others have mentioned, if you want people to find you, submit your profile on Dice, Monster (a bit spammy though), and LinkedIn. -
scaredoftests Mod Posts: 2,780 ModAgreed. Do not post your resume on Craigs. Rather post on Monster, Indeed or LinkedIn...Never let your fear decide your fate....

PJ_Sneakers Member Posts: 884 ■■■■■■□□□□I would use a title like, "SlayerX posted his resume to Craigslist. What happened next will AMAZE YOU" or "Hackers HATE SlayerX's resume" or how about "10 secrets SlayerX knows" or "I read this resume. First I was SHOCKED. Then I was AMAZED!"
