Hi. My job consists of troubleshooting network and security incidents. Levels 1 and 2. Soon I all be assigned only the security incidents. I want to make sure to have all the necessary stuff to do my job correctly and have wide details regarding the security wide. My goal is security consulting.

I'd say begin to learn how people are actively attacking networks/systems and the tools/methodologies they use. Perhaps, doing the OSCP would help. If you end up doing security consulting most would expect you to have a CISSP or CISA.
