CCT vs CCENT

Hi,

I'm new in Cisco and was wondering what is the difference between CCT and CCENT? especially if you a newbie in Cisco which exam will it be better to start of with?

I already have N+ which I passed last year.

There's a comparison chart on Cisco's website that explains the differences. Click on CCT, Data Sheets and Literature, then comparison chart (right).

I've had this discussion with a friend as well. From my understanding, the CCT is learning device-specific details. Where as, the CCENT is more network-specific, i.e. how to connect and operate those devices on a network.

I'd start with the CCENT.
