ITIL Foundation and PRINCE2..... Benefits?

Hello everyone!

I've just been told that I will be doing the PRINCE2 and ITIL foundation courses next month.

I guess my question is, how do these look to potential employers on a resume? Would this give me any potential advantage in comparison with other candidates?

ITIL with a couple of years of experience will give your CV a boost.
If you learn ITIL, you will have the "big picture" of the role of IT in the entreprise.

I would think you being in the EU it would be helpful if you ever wanted to move on. In the states very few jobs call for the Prince2, ITIL on the other hand is good in service based roles.
