Vca-dcv

Hi All,

I am preparing for my vca-dcv exam, I am reaching out to those have taken it.

I currently work with Vpshere at work creating VMs daily.

I have purchased this book http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/1118919661?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

and also watched Virtualization Fundamentals 2 times.

Is this enough study material? Also how difficult is this exam considering its open book?

I took the exam and all i did was watch the course on vmware and plurasight. I took the exam after and passed. It's mostly theory is using the technology to solve business needs such as HA, Storage DRS and DRS etc. Since you work with the technology daily, you will be fine with the current materials you have. Good luck.

Verities

Watching the official videos from VMware is enough to pass the certification. It's a very easy exam especially if you already have VMware experience.
