Did anyone else feel like a total puttz at their first IT job?

Because seriously. I keep making stupid mistakes- generally related to documentation and ticketing protocols. I just started my 4th week so I KNOW I am beating myself up too much. But please tell me I'm not alone in this! PLEASE!

haha! You know, at this point I am so new in my IT career that I still have the I AM SO EXCITED TO DO ANYTHING! attitude- but judging from the rest of the teams morale, that will fade fast...

Man, i'm right there with you! 2nd day today and I got to do a few tickets solo and I was like giddy even though it was the most basic simple stuff ever lol. I haven't even learned active directory or anything in school yet but got to get my hands on terminating/new hires adding people to exchange and such was a real eye opener. Everything moves so fast and I feel like I'm just molasses in winter but i'll never give up.

I just started a new role and I feel like a total waste half the time. But it on average takes 3 months to bed in properly and have an idea of what is going on

Three months? You must be Bill Gates lol. Takes a lot longer to feel comfortable depending on your role man. Don't rush it, just have fun.
