WGU Gen. Ed. Courses Recommendations

I'm looking into starting up at WGU as soon as I can get my A+ Cert. so I get accepted. In the mean time I'm looking to knock out some gen. ed. courses to shorten up my degree time. What classes do you guys recommend taking at straight line?

TBH I would focus on getting that A+ and then studying for another cert like Project+ or something that you can knock out the second you start WGU

Gen Ed classes are probably easier to do at WGU

You'll have to pay for the CompTIA certs though. I'd study for them before and then take the A+ as soon as you start. A quick 8 CUs right out of the gate and no extra payments.

So do you guys think that the A+ will be enough to get acceptance into WGU? I just started a help desk(ish) job last week so I don't have much formal experience. My counselor told me that the A+ should be enough but I've read some threads online saying otherwise.
