so has anybody else who sat it during beta get their results? I got an email

"Congratulations on achieving your Microsoft Specialist: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician certification"

So i logged into the website and the 697 score report says pass score 29. My score was 29 and it says PASS. I cant see it on my transcript yet though.

Considering i spent about 5 mins using windows 10, thats pretty disgraceful if i passed.

Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician is achieved from the 685, not 697.

Pass mark at 29? Do you recall how many questions you had?

Other Microsoft exams had 700 as the pass mark, wonder if it will revert to that standard now that the exam is final.

I couldn't take the beta earlier as it was not available in all countries, will give it a shot over the next few months..

I think i had like 60 or so questions. I got all my Windows 7 certs back in 2009 so seeing the email made me login and check and yes, it definitely said PASS and a passing score is 29 and my score was 29. I have tried to attach a pic. Not sure if its showing

Any good study material for the windows 10? Since windows 10 is supposedly the "last" operating system by windows?

Yeah there's another thread in the Windows 10 section that has materials people are using.

I took the beta and just received the same email. Like you I haven't done a Win 7 test in years. Where did you check your score? If I log into MCP and then click score it goes to Pearson and shows status as Taken, and clicking the view score report shows a blank page.
Also not showing anything on transcript.
    Awaiting results of 70-685

I login to the MCP site (the one with your benfits and exam), and click "View my score report". then it takes me to another page, which has another link to view my score reports, and then i click on View. Still the same as the screenshot i posted. Pass and 29 as the pass mark.

I got another email on the weekend and another one just now, this time one for "Microsoft Specialist: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Administrator" & "Microsoft Specialist: Windows 7, Configuring".

I have to say this whole exam seems like a complete mess.

Does anyone actually know what qualification you achieve by passing 70-697? I'm honestly struggling to see what qualification i should be getting.

Thanks. That is what I was doing but all I get is a blank white PDF. I was hoping I was just looking in the wrong place.

That's interesting. If you have a look over at the born to learn blog you will see a few people who are in the same boat as me but no one has mentioned anything similar to what you are getting. I would recommend posting in the comments section at https://borntolearn.mslearn.net/ to see if you get any feedback.

the plot thickens. This is the response i got from MS about my score. So no guarantee i actually passed icon_sad.gif

"Regarding the 697 Beta exam rescore, we have not completed the rescore because we encountered an issue that had to be resolved. When we conduct a rescore, which we are in the middle of doing now, the score reports are accessible to students through the normal fashion, online. In this case, the rescore is not complete because of this issue, and therefore, any score that the student is seeing at this time is not final.
I’m investigating to determine what this means for the beta rescore process in general and will likely blog about it when I learn more so that everyone understands what to expect. What I can tell you is that this report is not final and that the rescore process should be complete in the next few days.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks."

I've tried it again now and appears to be working. It now shows a minimum pass mark of 700 and my mark above that saying I passed. Still not showing in transcript, but that usually takes a few days.

Congratulations! I passed as well, only a 700 but a pass is a pass. Looks like 29 questions answered correctly was a pass.

Just a heads up everyone, but those emails you are receiving are unrelated to any beta you took. The Windows 7 test passes are being converted to specialists. Anyone who took those got those emails. I took the Win7 tests years back and go those emails over the past couple weeks.

I have yet to sit an exam for Windows 10.
