DTE vs DCE
Jasiono
I know what each is, and why they are there, but is there a command that shows which is running on a certain interface?
Would it be SHOW CONTROLLERS ?
How would I figure out if it's DCE or DTE running on an interface from the output?
Is there even a way?

I was doing a frame relay lab a couple of days ago, and one of the pvcs would'nt come up. And the FR switch said the pvc did'nt exist. After a frustrating five minutes (where i was on the verge of tearing it down and starting over again) I did that sh controllers and it said "no cable attached" DAMN! It was slightly loose, and I mean a few thousandths out, Pushed it in and the pvc came up
