My friend took icnd1 and failed. Does cisco have bundle where you pay for the test and comes with retake in case you fail?

Nope.

Part of the cert game, you pay to play.

Use Boson to prepare for ICND1. Boson is great for ICND1 but not ICND2.

I haven't hear of anyone besides Microsoft offering free retakes and even then [last I checked] you had to request the free retake certificate before taking the test the first time as the certificate number had to be entered when registering for the exam to allow a free retake.

I can vouch for Boson. God almighty it prepared the hell out of me for the ICND1. It's SIGNIFICANTLY tougher than the real exam.
