Promoted, but same work

How do you put your promotion on a resume if you're doing the same work. I went from associate to a regular engineer? Now I just have a little more responsibilities, more training, and now I am 24/7 thats really about it...

"Promoted from Associate Engineer to Security Engineer due to superlative performance and work ethic."

Feel free to elaborate and expand upon it as necessary.

The more time you spend in the new role, the more you can begin to split the two between junior/senior (or mid-level, whatever your distinction) duties, projects, accomplishments, etc.
