I am just asking a hypothetical scenario.
Does anyone have any explanation or idea?

jdballinger Member Posts: 252We use two different loopbacks for peering BGP peering vs. OSPF router-ID at work. It can be done either way, but we use OSPF for Loopback5 (BGP peering address) recursion.
