vSphere 6 Foundations. Study material?

I am working on the vSphere 6 Foundations exam but am having some issues finding material.

So far I am using
The blueprint as a reference
Pluralsight (series is not completed yet)
The book is coming in march 2016
vSphere 6 Foundations Exam Prep from VMware (very basic)

Is anyone preparing for this? I purchased the exam prep and received 50% off voucher but the voucher is only good until Jan 1. Looking for any extra study options.

vBrownBag has series of video recording for the Foundation Exam. After going through CBT/Pluralsight, better to visit vBrownBag too for the exam preparation.

vBrownBags, Pluralsight, and Mastering vSphere 6. vBB and Mastering vSphere 6 should be more than enough though + Labbing and more labbing.

Thanks guys for the tips. I am finishing whats available through Pluralsight. I will use CBT Nuggets to fill the gaps then go through vBrownBags.

Also mix in the Matering vSphere 6 and labbing.

Hi guys, Im new to vmware certs, I've noticed on a few of them you need to do the official course before you can sit the exam which is a bummer, is that the case with the foundation exam aswell.

You do not need to sit for a class to take this exam.

You do not earn a certification after taking it. It is part of the certification for the VCP6 if you are not already a VCP.

Briefly, You can take the exam and course in any order, however, until you have completed the course and exams, you do not earn a cert.

For VCP, you will need to sit the foundations, DCV and course to get VCP-DCV6.

Or, if you intend on going for cloud, desktop, etc. you need to sit foundations (Its the same one for all), CMD/DT/NV exam and course to gain the VCP-**6 cert.

Check out the Stanly CC VMware course that's like $180. You will have to join a waitlist but can probably make it for the January class.

Is this course ok for someone in the uk, will vmware allow me to do this in the uk and sit the foundation exam, I notice they dont do the foundation exam yet either which i assume is based on ver 6 and not 5.

Ah, I didn't notice your location. I'm sure that question has been answered in one of the Stanly threads here but I don't recall the answer. There is an active thread for the Oct-Dec classes that a Stanly rep is posting in. I'd post the question there and see what they say.

You will be fine for the UK. I'm in Aus and Sat the course. There are just a couple of US states that can't sit the course.

Hmm...That's really strange. I'm taking the Exam Prep offered through VMware and in the first video, it says it is non-proctored and the guy even says I can take it at home. It's 2VO-620, vSphere 6 Foundations Exam.

Interesting, I'll have to research that later. I had to sit the Foundations exam Proctored. And I would have thought that at the level the questions were, it needed to be.

Interesting...makes sense though. I tried to register for the exam and got confused when I could not pick a date so I cancelled and meant to reschedule it.

Hmm...Does it matter on what country you are in? That's the only reason I can think of it being different if you took the same exact exam.

The beta version was proctored, the final version is not.

Grr...I can't take this until I take the ICM for Horizon. I took the ICM for vSphere but since I'm going towards the DTM, they won't let me. Isn't the vSphere foundations test the same no matter what? The lady I spoke with said it's different but I see no indication of that.
