Does IPv4 Have a Line Protocol
dppagc
When I put an ipv4 address on 2 interfaces and use the no shut command on both sides. The physical and line protocol will always be up.
So does ipv4 have any line protocol?

A line protocol in the Cisco world simply refers to the fact that there is layer two connectivity between endpoint. For IPV4, most of the time is Ethernet, but could be serial protocols like Frame-Relay, PPP, HDLC ETC.
