Whats best way to get into forensic computing?

I could go to university and study forensic computing would this be worth doing? and if so what sort of jobs would I be able to think about after?

is the university route worth it and if the university route is not recommended then what sort of certs are good for this field forensic computing?

any other advise for forensic computing please fire away?
