If your going to study for the CompTia A+ i would recommend the following book CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, 8th Edition (Exams 220-801 & 220-802): Mike Meyers: 9780071795128: Amazon.com: Books. Also another great free resource would be to check out Professor Messer video's which are free and can be found here Professor Messer IT Certification Training Courses.
Hope this helps and good luck. -

You just have to really bear down to learn the basics from scratch. Those resources Kopite_21 mentioned are good pieces but there are many, many other books/videos out there (many of which are free! or can be free with a trial). fuz1on Member Posts: 961 ■■■■□□□□□□so.... you advise me to start with a+ without passing ic3
I don't know your background well enough to give you sound advice...
If you think ic3 would be beneficial to you then - by all means - go for it.timku.com(puter) | ProHacker.Co(nsultant) | ITaaS.Co(nstultant) | ThePenTester.net | @fuz1on
