To get serious for a moment, as someone that has a 20 year professional career in IT, I've found that the preparation process was much, much harder than I expected it to be. I initially approached it like I could study for a weekend and be ready; had to stop and reapproach it like a college semester class, spending a couple of hours a night and several hours on the weekends reading, watching training sessions, and labbing-up for hands-on.
I expect to sign up for my exam for next week sometime after I finish going through practice tests over this next weekend.
