Can the A+ be taken online like MS certs?

I'm im abit of a dilemma, the person test centres near me have no available bookings for the next 6 months (dunno why) I sat my ITIL exam online and I know this can be done with MS certs, please tell me the A+ can be done the same way? I really dont want the hassle of finding accommodation etc just to sit an exam.

I believe it's not available online. I think you have to go through Pearson Vue to find a testing center unfortunately.

No CompTia exam can be taken at home.

Some (Cloud+, Project+, Server+) were available for online-proctor this year but not A+ nor any other tests with PBQs.
