Best side job/hobby for an IT guy?

Hey guys,

I'm pretty much thinking about doing something on the side, besides my normal IT job. I don't think I can do a PC repair shop or anything like that. I was thinking the following;

1. IT Blog.
2. YouTube channel.
3. Some sort of article writing.

Any other ideas for a 23 year old IT guy?

I DJ as well as roller skate in my spare time. Tomorrow I start going to the gym regularly to get myself right. Plenty of things to do out here OP just a matter of finding what you like and it sticks.

Hello I am currently not in IT but truly fascinated and would love to find out what some good IT activities would be that would prep me and help me gain some knowledge before heading into WGU.?

Welcome to the forums

Some tips I would suggest to start into an IT career and prepare for WGU would include the following suggestions. I would start by reading books or thinking about what your interests are in IT: networking, systems, security, management, etc.. Look at applying for internships or doing volunteer work at libraries, churches, non-profit organizations to get yourself some solid experience and get you more acquainted into the industry.

As far as certifications: A+ would be a great place to start to get you some basic knowledge. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
