If you haven't caught the news already, there've been pretty big changes to the program. Read them here. More design focused now as the certification should have always been!

I was never a big Tshoot guy, so this is good news for me. Now I just need to write up a 400 page defense documentations.

I personally love the troubleshooting aspect of the exams, although I've never went to the VCDX defense so not sure how it works there.

On the other hand, as an architect, troubleshooting issues isnt your first job, so I guess it makes sense to remove the section.

Sometimes troubleshooting can go weird. We just had two guys passing their VCDX. One in DCV and one in Cloud. The Cloud's guy troubleshooting was about NSX. Thankfully he also passed his VCIX-NV at vmworld, but still slightly offtopic, considering his vCD design based on vCNS

It makes sense to remove this section to me too, 15 minutes would inevitably be over before you knew it.
