Interesting Problem For You

SieSie Member Posts: 1,195
Just had to sort out a users offline files.

It wasnt allowing a folder called "org structure" to be made avail offline.

Solved by renaming to "org_structure" and it would allow folder and subfolder to be avail offline.

The question is:

Why would it work for one name and not the other?

NB: "org structure1" and "org structures" also allows avail offline

Just curious. User was owner of folder and subfolder and files and had modify permissions on folder and subfolder and files,

The folder contained half a dozen word docs and a power point presentation.

What do you think? Is there a reason or is it just "One of those things?"

Can't rule out the possibility of an obscure bug. structure is a reserved word in all things programming but structures is not. I'm guessing that .net pushes reserved words in to space not normally required.

Perhaps it is the user making the folder? was the same user who made the old folder making the new folder?

Both have been done either way.

User A: Spelling 1 doesnt work yet spelling two does
    User B: Spelling 1 & 2 work.

Think i will have to lay this to rest as 'one fo those things'
