Technical exams for a beginner

Hi,
I am currently a Service Delivery Manager and also have some Project Management experience, I have gained an ITIL foundation and looking for exams which will help me improve my technical knowledge. My end goal is a IT Director or something similar. I have low level knowledge on most things technical but would like to improve.
So my question is what certifications can I start with to help me improve my technical knowledge.
