Flash error

ERR: Invalid chip id 0x80B5 (reversed = 0x1AD ) detected in System flash
Anyone seen it before? Any way around it, or do I have to get new flash?

I saw this on an old 2500 I had, the boot rom was to old for the flash. I had a 5.1 Bootrom and for Inter flash chips I think you need 5.2(8a) or later running bootrom software 10.2(7a) or laterLooking for CCIE lab study partnerts, in the UK or Online.
