Job Search--How?

I have about 5 years in IT as desktop, CCNA, Sec+, A and 7 classes away from BSIT....looking to get my foot in the door for IT Sec and do my time for CISSP. How did you find your job? Do you apply from postings...indeed...monster and etc. ...or ? I really appreciate you guys sharing.

The two major ones I use are Indeed and Linkedin. Never had much luck with Monster, CareerBuilder or Dice.
