400-101 CCIE Routing and Switching - IT Certification and Career Paths - Cisco Systems

Written Exam Topics v5.1 (Recommended for candidates scheduled to take the test ON July 25, 2016 and beyond)

It looks like they're adding a new section (Evolving Technologies - 10%) covering Cloud Computing (Shouldn't this be a DC topic?), SDN, and "The Internet of Things". On the plus side, another 8 months should be more than enough time to be ready for the Written. I thankfully couldn't find any mention of a revised (v.5.1) Lab Exam.

Oh god, I really hope they don't plan on revising the lab. If they do let it just be a small change. Would be killer for me to change my trajectory. ;_;

8 months would be good notice for me I guess if they did...

I doubt there would be much on the written exam for Cloud/Automation stuff - yet. However, this *is* the direction the industry is eventually going to be moving towards so this makes sense.
