Hopefully I pass the VCP next week. If not I have about three weeks to retry and then it expires. But barring that, it looks like 2016 will finally be the year for CCNA. Also CASP. It was a last minute addition to the end of the year that I was never going to finish in time.

    Goals for 2016:

    CCNA
    eCPPT
    eNDP
    CEH
    CASP
    Goals for 2019: CISSP[x] CCNA-SEC [x] CEH[x]
Goals for 2020: OSCP [] eCPPT[] eNDP[]

Currently working on MCSE Messaging, I passed MCSA windows server 2012 a couple of months ago so I just need 2 more exams to get the MCSE.
Hopefully will pass the first of these two early on in 2016 then the other by September. Then either take a break or upgrade my MCSA to 2016 (depending on when the exams are released/what material I can find on it)

    In the following order;

    1. CompTIA Security+
    2. Cisco CCENT -> CCNA
    3. MCSA 2012

Already planning for CompTIA Network+ by December this year if all goes well.

The plan is to start WGU on 01-Jan-2016 for the BSIT-Sec. Assuming that happens:

    1. CCNA: R/S
    2. CCNA: Security
    3. Linux+
    3. Various other CompTIA certs of questionable value.

Outside of that, I need to finish my VCP5-DCV. I was very close on my first attempt, but got distracted by real life, so I'm going to focus on taking that one in Dec-2015 or first thing in 2016.

Finally, as soon as I can, I'd like to blow past the BSIT - Sec and follow up with the CCNP: R/S. I suspect this will stretch into 2017.
    2018 Goals: CCNP R/S, VCP6-NV

My goal of getting my CCIE:R&S in 2015 fell through, due to a combination of factors (lack of focus too often, losing job, finding job, moving to new job being the big 4), but I felt I was pretty close, so I'm shifting that into 2016. After that it'll either be the CCNP:Security and starting CCIE:Security, enrolling in WGU, or looking more seriously into the CISSP.
    Latest Completed: CISSP

    Current goal: Dunno

Wow! Time flies when you're having fun. I've been so deep into McAfee security tools I didn't have time for my certs and school stuff. I think got burned doing too much. Having said that, I plan to start the year with some serious bang...I have:
    1. Qradar/McAfee training and certs to take (Jan).icon_cool.gif
    2.RHCSA
    3.RHCE
    4.OSCP
    5.CCNA:S
    5.Learn some Python icon_study.gif

    Hi MrAgent,

My goal for 2016 is to improve my experience in VMWARE and try to get VCP-DCV.
In addition, I need to read more and more about Microsoft Azure Server and AWS.

    Thanks.

This is my first post here and the start of my journey into the cert world.

I'm starting with the Microsoft Specialisation in Windows 10 (70-697) and then I think I'll move onto the CCENT. I'll then decide If I want to go towards the CCNA or the MCSE.

Good luck with your goals for 2016 everyone!

Hi to all, First of all I woul like to tell something about myself as I am new to the site. I completed my BS in Computer Engineering in 2008 and served as Support Engineer in IT Dept. of a bank. After that I switched to the telecom sector and served as Access Network Engineer for about 2 years. Did not get certified, but now seriously considering to get Cisco certified. As I am planning to immigrate to Canada, It appears certification is essential to get a job there. Would welcome any suggestion.
    My goals of 2016 are:

    CCNA &
    CCNP
