Mooseboost Member Posts: 778 ■■■■□□□□□□CCNP is still on my list for 2016, though I have taken a break from Cisco. Currently hoping to knock out the JNCIA in January, then probably back to the Cisco track.

junaid375 Member Posts: 14 ■□□□□□□□□□Completed my 2015 goal:
1. CISM
2. Mobility+
3. SABSA Foundation
2016 will be dedicated to:
1. CCSK (It will help as moral booster, easy and first cert of 2016 and will help in prep of CCSP as well)
2. CCSP (was waiting for it, really excited about this cert)
3. SABSA Practitioner (Risk and Assurance)
4. CISSP- maybe, I dont see much value in CISSP and since I now have CISM its an overlap, its still the most famous infosec cert though, magnet for recruiters.
Job listings usually mention "CISSP/CISM" unless its a network security job role which wont mention CISM or its a IT Security Manager kinda role which might omit CISSP.
I have 10+ years of Infosec experience. I learned a lot after reading CISM manual. I have skimmed through CISSP material and its seems like there is no depth in any domain. Might just read Conrad's 11th Hour book and sit for exam... -

MCSE (Server 2012 r2): 5/31/2016

aftereffector Member Posts: 525 ■■■■□□□□□□I've got to finish up my MSISA from WGU at some point this year so there's that. Next will be another Cisco cert to renew my CCNAs - I'll decide which one later, but I'm strongly considering trying for one of the NP Security exams, or alternatively SWITCH.CCIE Security - this one might take a while...

Change of plans! I will keep the CCNP:R&S, but instead further my MCSA to an MCSE. I will also try to get the VMware delta exam in there, probably towards the end of 2016.2017 Goals: []PCNSE7 []CCNP:Security []CCNP:R&S []LCDE []WCNA -

MrAgent Member Posts: 1,310 ■■■■■■■■□□So I am going to make the plunge and pick up some Cisco gear and start labbing for the CCENT, CCNA, and CCNA Security.
I don't think picking up the is too much of a stretch to get by the end of the year. I may put the CISSP on the back burner for now. -

nster Member Posts: 231I'll be trying to finish my MCSA 2012, get a SQL administration MCTS, and do the CCNA I've been pushing back for forever in the first half of 2016, as well as Security +. I'm still debating whether to invest time in VCP this year or later.
Second half of 2016 I want to do WGU -
MacHexSet Registered Users Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□Hi All, I am a very long time lurker I found this site in the first few months of my computer science degree in many years ago. All of the long time users and moderators messages have been invaluable to form. I've decided 2016 is the year I'm going to start posting myself. My goals for the year are the following;
VCP-DCV5 - Feb 2016
OSCP - April 2016
CISM - June 2016
CISSP - July 2016
Finish Masters Degree - August 2016
I reckon I can definitively do the VCP, CISM, CISSP and degree. The OSCP poses a bigger challenge but when I put money on the table I'm not going to leave it there. -
