CentOS 6.7 and VMware workstation

It has been a long time since I play with VMware. I have a couple of instances of Linux machines working, but today I attempted to install CentOS 6.7. The machine is up, but the network isn't. I have selected 'NAT'. I looked at /etc/sysconfig/network-script and the interface file has a hardware address in it, it is using DHCP, but still no connection. Any troubleshooting suggestion? Thanks.

Try changing it to bridged mode, in the VMware workstation.

Thank you DollarHyde, that in fact worked. I set this up because I have a user who want to use VMPlayer to bring up a Centos Workstation. Someone already built the workstation on an external drive and natted the interface. The user has a Windows machine, but would like to bring the Centos Workstation up and have it accessed by other machines on our network.

When you use NAT you need to open every single port needed in the network editor.
