    That's why I'm generally staying out of the market for bleeding edge security tools (of which there are literally hundreds nowadays). Sticking to the tried-and-true oldies and goodies until the "new" things mature a bit more (and settle down in terms of what companies will be in business in 3 years and what won't be).

    I hate all buzzwords and people who use them without proper understanding always make me laugh. Word number one by far is so called "cloud". So much buzz, lol

    when shopping vendors for products, there are so many "Next Gen" products, I want to know what happened to the current gen

    I've been working in telecom for the past 15 years. EVERYTHING is Next Gen. It drives me nuts.
