CISSP Passed!!!

madhavanragmadhavanrag Registered Users Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□
Just wanted to express my gratitude to the forum members as the invaluable insights provided by members have helped me prepare, study, improve and excel in the CISSP exam, which I cleared last week in first attempt.

I referred the following materials -

1. Shon Harris 6th edition AIO (recommended)
2. Shon Harris audio lectures and Practice questions book
3. McGraw Hill free practice questions
4. CCCure video CBT(recommended)
5. CCCure quiz access for a month

I studied for nearly 5 months considering my chartered accountancy background and also did a complete revision of the AIO in the week before the exam. I didnt find the 11th hour cissp edition that useful(just my opinion).

I work in Identity management and application security consulting.

This is great, it feels good to get that chip off your shoulder.icon_cheers.gif

Question for you though. Are all of the CCCure videos for each of the 8 domains completed already?

Bubble2005 -Yes all the 8 domains under the new CBK are now available on CBT form from CCCure.

Thanks a lot all for the wishes.

Next doing some research about CCSP as I have few projects in that space coming up. Any of you passed CCSP from ISC2?

Congratulations! I took the exams on November 18th (1st attempt) but did not make it. I scored 617. I had studied for the exams using the above mentioned materials (Excluding the CCCure Videos CBT). Of all the questions that I went through in CCCure Practice quiz, only about four of the questions came verbatim. I had only one hotspot question which was in relation to Data Ownership. Madhavanrag what types of simulations did you get?
