another reason i just use the normal client.....
VMware should just drop the web client, no one really uses it outside vROps.... -

They seem to be moving towards just having the web client. It's getting better, but definitely has a couple bugs that need to be worked out. -

Not when you're doing private cloud with vRA.

ahh well to me VM tools is like a given, if that not installed and you have problems, i'd slap myself or the person complaining, lol!
mind as well just shoot yourself in the foot without VM tools.
