Endorsement

I am totally exhausted so please pardon my disoriented thought processes

I am in the process of preparing for endorsement. What sort of experience qualifies for satisfying experience within the 8 domains? I have over 10 years of Ops experience (Servers, Firewall, Switches, Backups, AV, ACLs, Vulnerability Testing/management, VPN, MDM, SCCM, SCOM, SANs....).

Thanks for your opinions!

I guess you are getting ISC2 to endorse. Then you need

1. Resume/CV with description of job duties as related to domains
2. Copy of Certificate/Diploma/letter from University or other to support waiver claim (if applicable)
3. Proof of employment for each Job/Position form
4. Contact Information for supervisor/reference fo each position listed (name, phone, and email.).

For item 2, refer to https://www.isc2.org/credential_waiver/default.aspx. For my case, I included my MCITP, MCSA, MCSE:Security and Security+ certs.

For item 3 and 4, talk to your supervisor and HR. For my case, HR printed a certificate of employment signed by my manager that listed my job titles in the company.

For item 1, you need to write a custom CV that maps to the 8 domains. List all relevant job duties that are relevant to improving information security. Your experience must cover 2 or more domains. Possible examples : implemented WAF (Web Application Firewall) and wrote custom WAF rules to secure web servers

Yes, it does! I do not have experience with this, but it should be a lot easier.
