Web security certs

A work-study we have wants to go into secure web app development and testing/pentesting. I know a few of the usual suspects - SANS, eLearnSecurity, Offensive Security to point him to - any other suggestions?

The usual suspects you mention focus on either app development or pen test.

Add ISC2 CSSLP if you need one that focus on SDLC process.

All will reference OWASP.
