Will VMware support virtual TPM chips like Hyper v 2016?

Hi all,

Im a big fan of virtualization and in my line of work security is our top priority. Will VMware support virtual TPM chips like Hyper v 2016? Not having this capability on pur GUEST OS level is a concern especially for large VDI deployments that have strict security requirements. Has anyone heard anything come out of Vmware yet? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
