CCNP - Route: Practicing IP SLA?
Node Man
Hi Everyone,
Question - Is there a way to lab or practice IP SLA? I cant find a way on GNS3, Packet tracer, or my routers (2500's and 2600's)
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Node

If the IOS supports IP SLA (
Cisco Feature Navigator - Cisco Systems
), you could try out various SLAs such as ECHO (PING), HTTP (Simulates a Web Browser Request), or TCP Connect. ECHO (PING) only requires that the address you specify responds to PING. HTTP can use any reachable Web Server. TCP Connect requires an open TCP Port on the receiving device.
