Want more SNMP and NetFlow!?

Anyone else go through the Lammle book and after reading about SNMP and NetFlow, did you want to setup an NMS? I sort of tried with MRTG and then tried to add Cacti but had some database error. Still bothering me though thought about trying the free version of PRTG on my Windows side. What are you guys' thoughts?

Excellent software. I would recommend getting to know this software. Clear, with excellent video guides on how to configure it.

I wouldn't mind checking it out!

is it really "free" ? Or it it more like a stripped-down, nerf'ed trial version?
