Please Review My Resume

Hello,
I’m looking for some resume advice.
I edited my resume a little bit, but I feel like I’m missing a few things.
My current role:
Currently, I work for a MSP
I’m in charge of troubleshooting and resolving managed service tickets.
I often feel like I’m not advancing or learning anything new.

Are there any roles/jobs I should shoot for?
Help desk, desktop support, security, networking

I have attached my current resume.

Thank you in advance

I think as someone with around 2 yrs experience you really need the certifications at the top, even with much more experience the certs are very important as key words and interest generating when you read it.

Put certifications higher, your summary or objective needs to state what you are seeking for a job as well as some strong language about your skills so that needs work, and previous jobs MUST be past tense because you did them in the past.

I agree w/ pushing your certs higher. Also try to weave some of the technology you've worked with into your work experience. Before an actual human ever sees your resume, probably going to be ran thru software that pulls out your keywords. You don't want to go overboard on keywords, but at least be cognizant about them.

You need to work on your bullets/content overall tho. Be a bit more specific where possible and display your worth thru acheivements and value added. Job duties are usually evident from the position. And even when they aren't, job duties hardly are as impressive as what you actually accomplished at the job, and not just what you were supposed to do (which doesn't even mean you did did it).

What does "Participate in demonstrating job duties to temporary workers" even mean? Try to edit your bullets to be a bit more clear.

I would edit out public info on your document before posting it online. You don't really want that info out there.

As for the resume...it really needs some expanding. Don't just list I did this and that, list accomplishments, timelines and things of value.

Example: Worked on project "X" that impacted "Y" in "Z" weeks that resulted in $xxxxx saving for the company.

Show your value above all. A hiring manager wants to see what you can bring to the table.

I would be very careful about specifics on work tasks. Common technology like Microsoft and Cisco are ok but when you start listing what those impact and dollar figures...as an infosec professional it makes me cringe.

Thank you guys for the responses.

I pulled my resume, but I will have an update later tonight, or tomorrow.

I agree. It's a balancing act, that sometimes is hard to calibrate. I often enumerate the vendors and OSes I work with, but leave out model numbers and version numbers. Saying I worked with Cisco, Windows Server, and RHEL helps me on keyword searches, but unfortunately gives an rough idea about the company's infrastructure. Even today I continue to try to figure out how I can be as specific as possible about my accomplishments w/o giving away company secrets.

At the same time, I believe if the info can be found elsewhere, such as news articles, company blog, etc, it's fair game for me to include that info in my resume.
