    they don't grant you the cert until several months after you passed the test but they sure want their annual dues as if they certified you back when you took it....

    Kinda neat thing if you want to add it to your Linkedin profile. I would add it under your certification section also but this adds the ISACA badge for your cert under the Summary section. If a person clicks on it then it takes them to your ISACA badge page.

    You're very lucky. I submitted my application and paid the fee on the same day. But do you know when did I received their e-mail notification of receiving my application? After 3 weeks. Since then, the status of my application has been unreviewed.

    13th(?) Feb: application status in MyISACA set to "Approved" (unsure of exact date as I had not logged in for more than a week)
    15th Feb: received CISA confirmation email
    15th Mar: received CISA cert
    Total 2 months

    Compared to CISM certification last year
    2th Aug (Sunday) : submit CISM application
    4th Aug : received confirmation of application
    25th Sep : Complete - Under Review

    I presume that means they will be checking the experience on your form before approving it for certification. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, it might just delay certification a little longer.

    Exam to results (6 weeks)
    09/12/2015 Sat for Exam
    10/17/2015 Exam results received

    Found some time to submit application almost 5 months later icon_smile.gif

    Application for certification (4 weeks)
    3/7/2016 Application submitted, payment submitted
    4/4/2016 Email Received, Application Status: Complete-Under Review
    4/5/2016 Application Status: Approved
    4/6/2016 Email received, certified!

    I submitted this at the same time as my ISC2 CAP endorsement and CISM wins!

    Dec-12 Sat CISA exam
    Jan-15 Exam result received
    Mar-18 Submitted application & paid fee
    Mar-22 Received initial application receipt
    Mar-23 Received longer 'CISA Application Received' email & status changed to 'Unreviewed'

    Being a contractor it took a while to get V-1 & V-2's signed, with some getting posted to client contacts with stamped-addressed-envelopes (no-one wants to print-sign-scan-email).

    Just waiting now, which is driving me insane!

    Hi Avalon,

    Any update on your application status? I can see in previous post that it only took 5-6 business days from complete under review to approved. What is the average number of days for complete under review status to approved? I'm hoping under the complete under review, I am already cleared for audit and just waiting for the formal approval process. Something like batch approval process? Thanks!

    My status below:
    March 23, 2016 – Submitted application
    March 30, 2016 – Received confirmation receipt / Status un-reviewed
    April 18, 2016 – Status update to Complete-Under review

    Status update:
    April 28, 2016 – Status update to Approved

    Anyone else got an update? So, next step is complete. Probably tomorrow.

    Next step: Study CISSP / CRISC - in no particular order. Problem is I don't have enough experience for CISSP but the topics are very useful during IT audits.
