Are the Professsor messer course notes good for Security+
Hi all,
I am studying Security+, reading david prowse cert guide, and been watching the messer videos, however going through the videos one by one seems to take forever, and i am still stuck on the 12th video only of 184, i was thinking for perhaps $10 the notes look quite good, and analyse all that information in videos on notes etc, so perhaps will be a better choice considering the cost and will be faster to get through in regards to preparation as looking to take exam soon. Has anyone used these and if so are they worth the $10 fee?

I used it and it really helped me...its is about 36 pages and has lot of info in it..Its not going to replace any book...you still have read the book...but comes very handy few days before test...It helped me remembered lot of concepts which helped me during test!! -
cdx Member Posts: 186I highly recommend his videos. Especially for the concepts that you need to brush up on. Or just read the gibson book. I watched all the videos then skimmed the gibson book to brush up.
I highly recommend gibson practice tests and simulation tests that he offers on his website.Bachelor of Science - Information Technology - Security
Associate of Science - Computer Information Systems -

I also bought Darril Gibson's book and it just arrived today. I'm about 1/2 way through the first chapter. I did take the pre-read practice exam in his book and got 77/100. I thought that was pretty good for not having looked at most of that stuff in 5 years. I'm hoping to take the real test by the end of February.
