in CCNA & CCENT
hey guys, i'm currently pursuing my CCNA certification and frankly there is no way for me to get a real hands on experience when it comes to switches and routers, so i'm gonna use a simulator, i got boson ccna netsim, but it seems it covers only what is included in the book, so, i was thinking to get the ccnp version, the question is, which one is sufficient, ccna version or ccnp ...

Ricka182 Member Posts: 3,359Well, with no Cisco in my current studies, I would say get the CCNP, unless you plan on never expanding from CCNA. The NP should cover both, seeing you can't be NP without first being NA.i remain, he who remains to be....

hectorjhrdz Member Posts: 127I have Boson for ccnp and ,
i can assure that any version are very useful
.
But you never forget that the hands on lab(physical deployment) are very important always
ps. in both versions some commands are imposible to run , i don't know why. -

I downloaded and tried both Boson and routersim demo's.
I really like the router sim ----very user friendly.
Has anyone tried and used both? Which do you prefer? -
Jiggsaww Member Posts: 195i tried both when preparing for my CCNA........however the Routersim as you said is more user friendly......basically for CCNA i prefer the routersim but as the others said if you want to advance then look for something with CCNP command support.....
