RIP uses UDP.
OSPF uses its own Transport Layer protocol, but I don't think I've ever seen a name for it like with EIGRP (which calls its Transport Layer Protocol RTP or Reliable Transport Protocol - not to be confused with the VoIP protocol with the same acronym).R&S: CCENT → CCNA → CCNP → CCIE [ ]
