looking for Job application advice

Ok I got called in for an interview for next week. They gave me all of the paperwork job application and background check which stated it gets pretty in depth. One of my positions on my resume I worked as an on call field tech but I only worked for them for 3 months off the books so I was only paid in cash. Since it wasnt reported it won't show it my work history. I included that job as a filler on the resume. Since I don't want to step on my own toes in the whole background check and they think its made up or something with that lame job anyway. So would it look weird if I don't include it on the job application considering I had it on my resume?

I know its a dumb question but I don't want to screw up a potential good opportunity..

You can include it, they wont go to the government to do your background check. Even if they don't find anything for that specific job they just might ask you a follow up question thats all.
