I have customers who want to erase all data from their hard drives when the machines are retired. Any good (and cheap) ideas?

I used it to erase some 80GB drives before I sold them on ebay.

The best hard drive eraser is Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN). It's used by the US military and government and also by me. Just burn the disk image on to a floppy and boot from it. It wipes partitions, disks, and entire disk arrays. It's also completely free.
